General Information
About Sankhu
Sankhu once bustled as the terminal on the old trade route to Tibet is the oldest urban center in the valley, believed to have been established in 1299 BC. The place is mostly popular for the artistic temple of Bajra Jogini, the town's guardian goddess.
About Nagarkot
Situated about 35 km east of Kathmandu city at an altitude of 2229 ft. above sea level is the nearest place from the capital to experience the panoramic views of Mt.Everest and other peaks of the Himalayas. The place is surrounded by lush green forests and it is equally reputed for the sunrise and sunset views.
Trip Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel
Day 02: Full day tour of Sankhu and Nagarkot overnight at Nagarkot. (B)
Day 03: Drive to Kathmandu. (B)
Day 04: Final departure to airport or Continue to next programmed. (B)
