Mardi Himal Trekking

General Information

Mardi Himal is a long ridge whose summit 5,588m (18,500 ft) forms the southwesterly slope of Mt. Machhapuchhare below its sheer south face. This trek to Mardi Himal and Machhapuchhare is off the beaten Eco-Tourism destinations in Nepal. Machhapuchare peak also known as Fish tail Mountain because of its twin peaks that mirrors the image of a fish tail. The mountain considered sacred, so no permits have been yet issued to climb this mountain. The trek provides outstanding mountain views, walk through the forests and villages that have not felt the impact of tourism.

Trip Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Full day Sight-Seeing Kathmandu Valley (B)
Day 03: 7 hrs drive to Pokhara (B)
Day 04: Pokhara drive to Phedi and trek to Dhampus (B.L.D)
Day 05: Dhampus to Pitam Deurali (B.L.D)
Day 06: Pitam Deurali to Kharka (B.L.D)
Day 07: Kharka to Mardi Himal Base Camp (B.L.D)
Day 08: Rest and Exploring to surrounding area (B.L.D)
Day 09: Back to Pitam Deurali (B.L.D)
Day 10: Deurali to Landruk (B.L.D)
Day 11: Landruk to Pokhara via Nayapull (B.L)
Day 13: 7 hrs drive to Kathmandu. (B)
Day 14: Final Departure. (B)

Cost Include

  • Kathmandu-Pokhara-Kathmandu by tourist coach
  • Kathmandu-Pokhara-Kathmandu hotel accommodation with bed and breakfast basis
  • All land transfer as per given itinerary
  • Annapurna Conservation Area Project entry permits fees
