General Information
The small scenic village of Chovar just a kilometer beyong Kirtipur is well-known for gash in its hills. It is believed that the gash in the hills was made by Manjushree to drain out the lake which once covered the Kathmandu Valley. Thus, Chovar Gorge below the hills is a great attraction also equally important is the temple of Jal Binayak. Chovar is easily accessible by any means of transportation.
Trip Itinerary
Day 01: Meet at Kathmandu Airport and transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Drive to hiking starting point and hike to Chovar Hill explore the area and back to hotel. (B)
Day 03: Continue for your next trip or final departure on your own destination. (B)
