Chepang Hill Trekking

General Information

Chepang hill trekking is a newly developed trekking trail which lies on Mahabharat range north of Chitwan national park. The trail is considered very unique because of one of the most ethnic cultures of Nepal- Chepang culture. Chepang's are believed to be influenced by Tamang's, who speak their own distinct language, lead a nomadic life and their primary lifestyle .i.e., hunting, foraging for wild roots, fishing and traditional farming near jungles. The trail passes through a variety of landscapes, panoramic views of summits from Dhaulagiri (8167m) to Kanchenjunga (8598m) during clear weathers and you will also be introduced to the inhabitants by means of cultural dance and songs.
